Setting up password recovery for your RockItCoin application is very important and highly recommended. We do not keep records of login credentials, so having a way to restore your password is crucial in not losing your current Bitcoin!
You will need your password for this process, it will not help if you have already forgotten your password.
The steps below will walk you through the process of backing up your RockItCoin wallet. This process involves you adding recovery questions to your wallet. Make sure that you know what you type EXACTLY as they are case-sensitive. We always recommend you write down your login credentials as well and keep them in a safe place for reference.
Step 1:
Open up your RockItCoin application and select the three horizontal lines on the top right to open up the menu bar. Once the menu bar is open, select Settings at the bottom of the list to open up your Wallet Settings.
Step 2:
Unlock your Account settings by pressing the Lock button on the screen and typing in your password.
Step 3:
Now that you have unlocked your Account Settings, you will be able to set up your password recovery.
Step 4:
Here, you will be able to select two security questions for your password recovery.
Keep in mind these answers are CASE SENSITIVE.
Once you select your questions, press "Save" to email yourself the answers. Make sure you select an email that you use actively use, this is where the Recovery token will be sent.
NOTICE: When you select "Confirm & Email," the email displayed says it's an "Edge Password Recovery." Our application is powered by Edge and shouldn't affect your password recovery when you use the RockItCoin App.
