A paper wallet can be printed at a RockItCoin Bitcoin ATM by selecting "create a new wallet" as an alternative to scanning the QR code from your digital wallet to the ATM. Be careful with the paper wallet since it holds all the funds sent to that Bitcoin address. Bitcoin transactions are irreversible so if a paper wallet is lost, damaged or destroyed the funds are LOST FOREVER !!!
This is what a paper wallet looks like
Moving Bitcoin from the QR code on the receipt to your digital wallet
If you don't already have a wallet we recommend downloading RockItCoin Bitcoin wallet for iPhone or Android. It's free and fast! Be sure to back up your digital wallet! No matter wallet you have chosen, there should be a scan button once you are logged into digital wallet. In some wallets like Blockchain, Bitcoin Wallet, Luno (Circle), BitGo and others, the scanner is brought up by selecting the small box that looks like this:
Others like RockItCoin wallet & Airbitz have a "Scan" button at the bottom of the app (the up arrow^)
Select the scan option on your wallet and then scan bottom QR code on the receipt. This is the private key, it is used to take funds from a wallet. Never share the private key from your digital wallet with anyone. Then select Import Funds.
Your funds will now be imported from the paper wallet into your digital wallet. Once they confirm you can spend them!
Most Common Problems:
1 - "Bitcoin Wallet" and "Blockchain wallet" users often experience a delay in both network confirmations and network transaction recognition (These wallets may not see your transaction for an hour(s) in busy Bitcoin network times, we recommend using RockItCoin Bitcoin wallet. 2 - Camera flash being on
3 - Some lesser quality or older conditioned smartphones and digital wallets can't scan QR codes
